Masters programs 2020-2021

Regarding applications to the masters' programme:

A candidate can apply to APE, EDCBA, PPD or all of them. Within each of these programmes, the candidate has to choose whether to apply to the M1 year or to the M2 year (except for the EDCBA master, there is only one year).

There are no application fees.

For the APE and PPD programmes, there is only one session, all application files will be evaluated at the same time. No applications will be accepted after the deadline. No applications should be sent directly by email to the administration/directors of PSE; all interested students should apply on the website PSE applications (or Ecandidate - only for students coming from Paris 1 or QEM program and applying to APE). 

For the EDCBA master programme, the application files are evaluated on a rolling basis.

 

The application process deadlines are as follow:

EDCBA Master programme:

Applications will open Mid-October

Applications closing on July 20, 14h

Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis.

You will get an answer within 10 days after submission of your application file.

 

APE and PPD Master programmes:

Applications will open on January 1st, 2020.

The deadline until you can apply is March 01st, 2020 

Results will be given Mid-April

For students coming from Paris 1 or QEM applying to the APE master program: you also have the possibility to register on the Ecandidat Application website (https://ecandidat.univ-paris1.fr/) 


-          Applications on e-candidate

You should apply on only one of the platforms (PSE Applications or Ecandidat - and not on both). Priority should be given to PSE Applications, but even if you apply on Ecandidate your file will be evaluated.

Analysis and Policy in Economics (APE)

The APE Programme offers research training in theoretical and applied economics. This Masters is offered jointly by the EHESS, the ENS, the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and is certified by the Paris School of Economics

Public Policy and Development (PPD)

The Public Policy and Development master is a two-year research-based program, focusing on applied economics and social sciences, and dedicated to the conception, analysis and evaluation of public policies, in developed and developing countries. It combines rigorous training in analytical and quantitative economic methods with an emphasis on policy and practice. 

The PPD master will offer two to three scholarships to M1 students who are citizens of a middle or low-income country

Economic Decision and Cost Benefit Analysis (EDCBA)

EDCBA is a Masters of Science (MSc) in economic calculation for investment decisions, applied to sectors of the economy currently in full expansion: planning, energy, environment, health, digital transformation.
This initial M2 (Masters of Science) programme, taught entirely in English, is open to French and International students who hold a Masters 1 or 2 degree in economics, statistics or mathematics, university students, and students of the Grandes écoles, engineering schools and business schools.

Summer School 2020

Applicants may apply to one program per week.

There are no application fees.

The application process for the Summer School 2020 will open in early December.

Deadline to apply: March 1st, 2020

Payment deadline: March 15, 2020

Application may re-open after the deadline if there are seats still available.
